(Satire) A recent report of Internet celebrity websites shows that many sites seemingly create news about popular celebrities, just to be able to get more viewers.  One trick they use is to add names like ”Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian or Kendra Wilkinson.”  This is solely to encourage more visitors from search engines like Google and Yahoo.

Legitimate celebrity news and blog sites, like the ANU Syndicate, never throw around keywords like “Pamela Anderson, Nicole Richie, Denise Richards, or Angelina Jolie” just to get more views.

“It is apparent that some sites even throw in words like ‘pregnant’ or ‘dead’ into subject lines, in an effort to encourage more clicks,” said a news representative.  “The thought of this sort of use of trickery is appalling!”

Although dishonest, there is no law against using words like “Mike Tyson Kills” as a title for an article about Tyson making people laugh in a new movie.  There is also no law against writing a satire article about keywords like “Kim Kardashian” and adding words like “sex video revealed.”
