My friend is a huge Star Wars fan and actually got to show the series to a guy who not only had never seen it before, but hadn’t learned all the plot twists through pop culture osmosis. (I forget what country the guy was from, but I would presume he lived under a rock there with no internet access.) I know plenty of people who have never seen the movies, but they still know the basic plot, along with a couple lines. So watching someone freaking out because “HOLY s**t, he’s his FATHER? WHAAAAT?” was pretty cool.
(Sorry for the spoiler, character Swaim played. Unless you did manage to watch the fifth one while you were sitting there? Anyway.)
