Our busty beauty of the week is named Zoe. Zoe lives in sunny Florida and she is of Egyptian heritage. We took Zoe out to a few local attractions in the greater Tampa area for this afrotastic photo shoot. Many of the pictures were taken in Gibtown… Gibsonton, Florida. Charlie Foy of Foy’s Auto Salvage was willing to let us use his lot for some pics. We also went to the train tracks in the area and used the CSX lines to take a few photos. Afro-Squad has been online for well over a decade, and we’ve made tons of other websites over the years. Our websites get thousands of visitors, and we’ve tried a lot of advertising methods.

Google has been by far the most successful advertisor for us. We get hig quality ads, and we make decent money from them. However, we are testing Adbrite on this site to see if they compare to Google.

In the first 10 days of August, we got 24,000 impressions with our Google ads on pro wrestling sites. From those 24K impressions, people clicked our ads 92 times. Google will pay us $28 for those 92 clicks. That equals 30 cents a click.

During our test on Afro-Squad.com, Adbrite got us 13,410 impressions. That means 13K people saw Adbrite advertisements. From those 13K impressions, people clicked the ads 17 times. The fewer clicks per impression than Google may be because of my ad placement. So I can’t necessarily blame Adbrite. However, it is likely that Adbrite just has less interesting ads. It seems that Adbrite ads have nothing to do with my content, probably because they have fewer advertisors. In total, Adbrite will pay me 84 cents for those 17 clicks. That’s about 5 cents a click.

When you compare, Google is paying me six times what Adbrite is paying me. Of course, this often has to do with the type of content. You make more money off of better quality content. For example, you could make $2 a click with a web site about legal advice and less from a site about bikini models. That’s just how the advertising world works.

I have tested Google and Adsense for years, and in every comparision, Google has won out. Google Adsense pays more per click than any advertisor I have ever found online.

Below is the plat of a classic Afro-Squad movie from the 70s.

The action opens in the South Seas. Lee Daniels (Pam Grier) is the girlfriend of the island’s biggest pimp and drug dealer, and she just ran off with $40,000.00USD of his money. Karen Brent (Margaret Markov) is a leading member of the local anarchist group. Lee and Karen are two of the newest inmates at an all-woman’s penitentiary.

It’s not too long before the Warden ships the pair off to another facility – where they are stopped in route by a group of Karen’s fellow revolutionaries who are keen to free her. During the big gun battle, things go horribly wrong – the federals find reinforcements, the revolutionaries run, and Lee and Karen flee chained together. So begins their flight across the island. Each girl wants to go different directions – with Karen wanting to overthrow the government and Lee wanting to leave the island with her money – but they can’t unlock their chains. Eventually, the two put aside their differences long enough to save their skins from the ogreish and murderous whoremaster. Meanwhile, hunting the pair is the lecherous Ruben (Sid Haig) a displaced cowboy.

Who is the Afro-Squad?

    The Squad, also know as the Afro-Squad Army, is a group of people across the world who share a similar distaste for the Man and his nefarious minions.  We enjoy sports, women, sporty women, good humor, and funky cars. 

Who is the Man?

    Here is the simple answer.  The Man is the guy at work that you hate.  He’s the guy who enforces pointless rules.  He is the person who raises your taxes.  He charges you additional fees on your cell phone.  He also keeps you from getting laid.

 Can I join the Afro-Squad

    Yes you can!  We are always looking for funky people to join the ranks of the Afro-Squad Army! 

 How do I join the Afro-Squad?

    There are a bunch of ways!  Grab a ‘fro, wig or similar gimmick and shoot some pictures at a local sporting event.  Even better, make your own Afro-Squad video!  Send it to us and spread the word about the Squad!

Will being in the Afro-Squad get me laid?

    Yes.  Absolutely. 

Why the dark glasses and wigs?

    First off, it is fun to dress up and look goofy.  Second, it helps hide our identity from the Man.  Let’s face it.  The Man is so powerful that he would have a jumbo jet crash in our trailer park if he ever determined our identity. 

What are some common themes within the Afro-Squad?

    A few members really like wrestling.  So you are bound to see the Squad at some wrestling events.  SnowMan and KrazyMan also enjoy White Castle, Photoshop, video editing, and classy ladies.  So you are likely to see those sorts of things too. 

I once saw a website called NinjaPimp Online.  It featured the Afro-Squad.  What was that?

    That was our attempt at a men’s magazine, like Maxim.  We did interviews.  We talked about food, and we crushed the Man. 

Where has the Afro-Squad been?

    We’ve been a lot of places.  The Afro-Squad has appeared at the Superbowl and the World Series.  We’ve been in Paris and Germany.  We’ve been on TV in the US and Australia.  We are all over YouTube, and we may have been in your sister’s bedroom. 

Who are your main members?

    KrazyMan and the SnowMan are the main members of the Squad.  For all intents and purposes, these characters founded the group.  Since then, there have been dozens of supporting characters.  Minor 69′er, Kinky Tuscadero, Jordi Scrubbings, the Afro-Squad Dog, the Gargoyle, the Mullet Master, the Rated R Afro-Star, Original Jit, the Zombie Pimp… and the list goes on. 

Does the Afro-Squad have anything to do with race?

    Nope.  It sure doesn’t.  The Afro-Squad is a group of people of different races who all hate the Man.  It is just that simple.

Afro-Squad has been online since 1996, and we have never gotten too preachy.  However, I was at Buffalo Wild Wings in Riverview, Florida and I saw a video game that I just hated.  It is Jungle Safari by the folks that make Big Buck Hunter.  So now it is time to get preachy.

The game focuses on shooting wild endangered animals.  How is that a good concept for a game?  I can see killing Nazis, or even the French, but what did a West African Chimp ever do to you? 

Unless you have been mauled by a chimp, what do you have against these animals?  Can’t we just build video games where we re-kill the undead?  I could even accept killing zombie chimps, but to pay your hard earned cash to pretend to shoot an endangered animal that is grooming itself. 

I for one will not go back to any restaurant that has this game.  Can’t we just go back to playing games where we shoot at imaginary centipedes?

As you may already know, the team at the Afro-Squad is kind of vain.  SnowMan Jones takes pictures of himself all day long.  KrazyMan is constantly looking at his reflection in his golden gun.  Jordi Scrubbings will talk your ear off if you get a chance.  So every once in a while we google the term “Afrosquad.”

We were angered when we saw somebody using the name Afrosquad on a racist message board titled Chimpout.  Chimpout has nothing to do with the good natured antics of the real Afro-Squad. 

Every once in a while people ask us, “do your afros have anything to do with race?”  The simple answer is no.  They just look funny on our skinny little bodies.  That’s all. 

On a side note, this little chimpanzee reading a paper is pretty cool.  We wish we knew some real chimps.  They are cool when they aren’t eating your fingers.
