April Hunter Exclusive Interview NWA-TNA Wrestler, nWo Valet &
Playboy Model You are into modeling,
fitness, wrestling, and a host of other professions. What career
do you think brings you the most attention? I would say modeling. But it's funny how things work...you're more of a novelty in wrestling if you're a model and you're more of a novelty in fitness if you wrestle. The grass is always greener... What is your ultimate goal in
modeling? I never really had one. The modeling I did was pretty "unconventional" -- let's just say it wasn't high fashion. My goals were just to have fun, try not to get f'ked over, try lots of different looks and make it profitable. Oh, I did always wanted to be in Penthouse and never got there. That's my one regret. But I did Playboy. What are some of the more
well known publications that you have modeled in? The aforementioned Playboy, Hustler, MuscleMag, Max,
Ironman, Iron Horse, Pro Wrestling Illustrated, and a garden variety of
nudie, men's, fitness and wrestling magazines. What are some publications
that you won't work with? None. There are photographers I won't work with, like
Rob Sims because he's a one of the ones who will f'k you over while
smiling to your face, but that's about it. Do you have anything for sale
on your site that you would like to talk about? Lots and lots of sexy, cool DVD's and videos. Oh, and
my site. www.AprilHunter.com To travel the world on someone else's dime and to be
the best female wrestling What would you consider your
favorite match? Probably my match in What is your relationship
with Slyck Wagner Brown? Slyck is very a cool, very laid back Jamaican who is
good at his one and only true love: wrestling. He's my tag team and
travel partner. He also trained me (at Killer Kowalski's) and is one of
my closest friends. Compared to other female
wrestlers, how do you rate yourself? That's a hard question. I think I have a little extra
going for me because I already had a name coming into wrestling and am
lucky in that I have the height, a look and was trained by a very good
school. But as far as my actual talent and matches...you'd have to ask
the fans. What do you think of other
female wrestlers? Maybe you can tell us your thoughts on Chyna,
Trish Stratus, and Tracy Brooks. I actually think pretty highly of the girls who work
in and at wrestling. It can be a difficult business to stick to some
days. Chyna is da' woman...she became one of the only female "household
names" in wrestling. Trish is awesome and works very hard; hurt, tired,
she gets out there and does it well.
How was your time at Killer
Kowalski's school? Chyna's book portrays him as a slave driver. I know. That surprised me. I guess everyone has their
own opinions about him, but Killer was always great to me. Warm, funny,
perverted...a typical old wrestler! He was always willing to jump up,
tell you how stupid you were being and show you how to get it right. I
like him. Where do you see yourself in
five years? I really don't have a clue. I'm just going to run
with the ball and hope it takes me far. Thanks for your time, is
there anything you would like to say to your fans? Thanks for reading! If you want to know and see lots more, check my site: www.aprilhunter.com
